Following the cyber attack on Tuesday, A.P. Moller-Maersk is cautiously progressing towards technical recovery to ensure the issue remains contained. It is too early to give a timeline for normal state of business to be restored.
The entities Maersk Oil, Maersk Drilling, Maersk Supply Service, Maersk Tankers, Maersk Training, Svitzer and Maersk Container Industry remain operationally unaffected.
Maersk Line has since 7.00 PM CEST been taking online bookings through three different solutions. Via INTTRA, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and an online booking form. Maersk Line is loading cargo as booked and handling of cargo in transit is close to normal.
For APM Terminals the situation continues to improve. Impacted terminals have implemented business continuity plans and operations teams are carefully implementing IT solutions that will restore full operations.
Damco and its customers are working together on receiving and dispatching of CFS (Container Freight Station) shipments. With this Damco remains operational across all its main products.
